Old verses new cars

Remember the older cars full of chrome and metal. Their frame was incredibly strong and tough. They were built like a tank. Of course most did not require use of seat belts which increased projectile injuries. Now cars have less rigid construction and crumple zones to supposedly yield less bodily injury. This does save lives at high speed collisions. However, since these areas on cars absorb impact, the energy is thus transferred into the vehicle where passengers and drivers are. In other words if a 4,000 lbs. car collides, then it is transferred to the occupants.  Easily we can see how even a low speed collision can hurt occupants.

The older cars have the value if you see the market rates but I did not like the chrome car which is looking so strange. Nowadays, companies did not use any chrome and become more modern. It is nice to know about the older cars information.
